Kasaragod (കാസർഗോഡ്, ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು) is the headquarters of Kerala's northernmost district. It became the first municipal town in the area in 1966, and the district itself was formed in 1984. The town stands where the Chandragiri, the district's longest river, meets the Arabian Sea at Thalangara, about 50 km south of Mangaluru. The collectorate and civil station are at Vidyanagar, which is also the education centre of the taluk.
The district calls itself Sapta Bhasha Sangama Bhumi, the land of seven languages. In the 2011 census, about 70% of people in Kasaragod taluk gave Malayalam as their mother tongue, while Tulu, Kannada, Marathi, Konkani and Urdu were also recorded. So one family may read English, speak Malayalam at home and deal with neighbours in Tulu or Kannada. A business that writes clearly, in short sentences, reaches more of them than one that leans on clever slogans.
Money and work reach the town by several routes. Thalangara's economy depends on remittances from workers in the Gulf, especially Dubai. The Central Plantation Crops Research Institute, set up here in 1916 as a coconut research station, still anchors farm science locally. And the Kasaragod saree, a durable cotton handloom woven by the Saliya community, has held a Geographical Indication since 2010; the weavers' cooperative that keeps it going dates from 1938.
Kasaragod draws visitors for faith and history. The Malik Deenar mosque at Thalangara is among the oldest in India. Chandragiri fort stands across the river, and the Madhur temple and the Ananthapura lake temple, the only one of its kind in Kerala, are close by. From December to May, theyyam rituals come to sacred groves across the district. The town sits on NH 66 and the Mangaluru–Shoranur railway line, with Mangaluru airport about 65 km away.

Yes, but more languages cost more: they are priced separately on top of the ₹12,000 starting fee. Pages are unlimited, so your total is worked out from the languages and features the site needs.
No. The starting package puts no limit on pages. Most shops begin with Home, Gallery, Services, About and Contact. It also includes a photo gallery for your sarees, a WhatsApp button, a map pin and an enquiry form. A store with a cart and online payments is quoted separately.
Support for 365 days, a full year from launch. Once we have your shop's text and saree photos, the site takes about seven days to launch. The domain and hosting renew every year in your own name; those are separate costs, and we guide you through buying them.
Yes. Our studio is in Udupi, Karnataka, and the state border changes very little in how we work. GST rules are the same on both sides, and most of the day-to-day work runs on WhatsApp and video calls. We visit for the first meeting, and at key stages when the project needs it.
Yes, one site can carry Malayalam, English and Kannada side by side. We write English and Kannada with you. We do not write Malayalam ourselves, so that text comes from you or a translator, and we make sure the script displays properly on ordinary phones. For many shops, clear English plus WhatsApp is enough to start.
Yes. An online store can take payment from a buyer abroad and deliver to an address in Kasaragod district. We set up the payment options with you, ask for both the buyer's and the receiver's details at checkout, and can send order updates to both of them on WhatsApp.
